Crystal Arrow: States of Being

Oh gee, it's been what, four months since the last crystal pony work like this?

Well, for this one I wanted to take what I did with the last three and flip things around, like have the high-spirit pony be laying down and the low-spirit pony standing up.  That and I'm always keen on finding or making sitting or laying-down ponies, since standing or flying ones become a bit...standard, after a while.  That said, this guy in general didn't have as much "in your face" reference material to work off of or sample colors from considering the gradients and all that shizz, but that just meant it took a bit of extra work and time and didn't prevent the end result.  A lot of the extra effort needed to make this compared to my past things, in addition to a lack of a real incentive or sense of urgency, caused me to procrastinate on this one for a while, like how these two were vectored a week apart.  So much for getting busy with the beginning of this mid-season hiatus, huh?

That said, onto the next project, which is a bit more time-sensitive and urgent which is just what I need, since I plan on printing it and taking it to BronyCon 2015 to have autographed by a certain VIP.
